The purpose and objectives of NHFOC are:
To promote the health and welfare of the Domestic Ferret through education of owners and
the public concerning proper housing, nutrition, veterinary care and behavioral
management.
To provide opportunities and activities that will raise funds for the improvement of the
Domestic Ferret's status and health, such as supporting New Hampshire Ferret Shelters.
To provide (through membership in NHFOC) an informational support network and services,
for ferret owners, pet shop personnel, and professionals, working for the health and
welfare of ferrets.
